Set in the heart of Milan, The Carlton is a refined city hotel defined by timeless elegance, Italian craftsmanship and a quietly confident sense of luxury. For Paolo Moschino Ltd, luxury is defined not by excess, but by space, calm and atmosphere. High ceilings, bright rooms and a sense of grandeur create a refined serenity, “a new way of luxury,” as he describes it. That philosophy extends to craftsmanship and provenance: lamps are handcrafted and intentionally unique, while much of the furniture is made locally around Milan, inspired by iconic Italian designers such as Gio Ponti and Piero Portaluppi.

Central to the project is a collaboration with San Patrignano, a rehabilitation community known for exceptional artisanal work. Together, they developed exclusive wallpaper collections, including one created solely for The Carlton.
