South of France Guest House

Sculpted Serenity in the South of France

Undertaken by the Paolo Moschino Design Studio for a distinguished client, this early 20th-century building, formerly the local rectory, is nestled in one of the most picturesque locations just a stone’s throw away from the seafront in the South of France. While the façade may appear as that of a typical village house from southern France, upon entering the property, visitors are greeted by a strikingly grand entrance hall. With minimal architectural features to work with, the interior underwent a complete overhaul. The Design Studio had the privilege of incorporating the client’s extraordinary art collection into the design, enlisting the expertise of prominent Belgian panelling specialists to frame selected paintings. Additionally, the client commissioned a ceramic artist from New York to craft a bespoke dining table – the result is a remarkable and visually stunning table base resembling a pile of rocks, composed of individual ceramic pieces meticulously arranged.
