Central London Townhouse III

A Victorian terrace in Belgravia has been reimagined as a single private residence, conceived as the client’s forever home, with bespoke design throughout.

Built between 1838 and 1840, this Grade II-listed Victorian terrace has been meticulously restored and reimagined as a single, cohesive residence: a true forever home. The brief centred on complete reinvention, carefully balancing architectural heritage with deeply personal, bespoke design. Arranged over seven floors, the house now offers five en-suite bedrooms, including two master suites that each occupy an entire floor, providing exceptional privacy and quiet grandeur. Throughout, bespoke finishes and handcrafted details respond sensitively to the building’s original architecture.

The principal drawing room sets the tone: grand yet intimate, with bespoke plaster beading, walnut parquet flooring, and an 18th-century marble fireplace. On the ground floor, the dining room and kitchen are unified by green lacquered plasterwork, creating a bold but elegant setting for everyday life and entertaining. Wellness and functionality are housed on the lower ground floor, with a private gym, chef’s kitchen, and integrated utility spaces, while a newly constructed basement introduces a dedicated wine room, adding a final layer of refinement.
